A closer look at our power supply units: a range compliant with the EN60898-1 standard
To ensure the compliance of your elevator installations, OCTÉ Lift offers a range of power supply boxes that meet the requirements of the EN60898-1 standard.
This range supports modernization projects by providing safe, ready-to-use solutions adapted to various installation contexts.
Why talk about a power supply box (and not “DTU”)?
In the industry, the term “DTU” is often incorrectly used to refer to power supply boxes. This is actually a misnomer inherited from DTU 70-1 of December 1980, which is no longer a valid regulatory standard.
Key points to remember:
• The correct term is power supply box.
• It incorporates the necessary protections for powering elevator equipment.
It is sized according to the actual needs of the construction site and the type of installation.
