Industrial Elevators: Robustness and Productivity

Industrial elevators are designed for production, storage, and logistics environments where requirements regarding load capacity, frequency of use, and resistance to harsh conditions (dust, impacts, chemicals) far exceed the standards found in commercial or residential settings.

SECA develops custom industrial elevator solutions for factories, warehouses, logistics sites, maintenance workshops, and distribution centers.

Characteristics of industrial elevators

High load capacities

SECA industrial elevators handle loads ranging from 1,000 kg to 10,000 kg and above, accommodating the transport of pallets, forklifts, containers, or large production equipment. Sizing is determined based on the material handling equipment used on-site.

Ruggedness and durability

Reinforced, anti-vibration flooring, wide-opening doors (up to 4 meters wide), heavy-gauge steel cabins, and high-endurance industrial drive systems: every component is selected to withstand the rigors of intensive use in industrial environments.

ATEX options available

For industrial sites with potentially explosive atmospheres (chemical, petrochemical, and food processing industries), SECA offers ATEX-certified versions for Zones 1/2 (gas) and 21/22 (dust). See the ATEX Lift page for details.

Industrial applications

  • Factories and workshops: transport of parts, tools, and raw materials between levels
  • Warehouses and logistics hubs: loading and unloading between docks and storage levels
  • Food processing facilities: freight lifts compliant with hygiene requirements
  • Aviation or automotive maintenance workshops: transport of heavy parts
  • Mining and extraction sites: personnel and equipment lifts
