OCTÉ is an independent French industrial player with a European reach, comprising five entities specializing in elevators, sheet metal work, and electrical solutions. With a history dating back to 1958 and a presence in several European countries, OCTÉ has established itself as a leading partner for elevator companies, manufacturers, and demanding clients. All group entities are ISO 9001 certified and share a committed QSE (Quality, Safety, and Environment) policy, compliant with the ISO 14001 standard.
OCTÉ Lift — The French specialist in custom elevator solutions
Founded in 1962 and based in Châteauneuf-en-Thymerais (Eure-et-Loir), OCTÉ Lift is the group’s commercial and technical driving force. A leading European partner, OCTÉ Lift supplies elevator companies with components, complete or partial modernization kits, and technical services tailored to existing buildings. With 52 employees, a turnover of €18 million in 2024, and over 1,000 modernization projects completed annually, OCTÉ Lift also boasts 3,000 m² of warehouse space to ensure fast delivery times. Certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, OCTÉ Lift relies on major brands such as OTIS, KONE, Schindler, and TK Elevator.
SECA — French manufacturer of custom-made elevators and lifts since 1958
Based in Poitiers (Vienne), SECA is the oldest entity in the group, specializing in the design and manufacture of elevators, lifts for people with reduced mobility (ERM), car lifts, and custom-designed pylons. With 50 employees, a 4,500 m² production area, and a projected turnover of €12 million in 2025, SECA has delivered more than 8,200 projects since 1999. Its expertise in the Lifts Directive and the Machinery Directive allows it to work in demanding environments: architectural projects, the nuclear industry, ATEX zones, and seismic zones. Its clients include the Ritz, RATP, LVMH, the Senate, and the MUCEM.
OCTÉ Industry — Experts in sheet metal work, boiler making and industrial metal fabrication and welding
Based in Fontaine-la-Guyon (Eure-et-Loir), OCTÉ Industry is the manufacturing arm of the group. Originating from MGMI, founded in 1989 and integrated into the group in 2009, OCTÉ Industry operates a 4,500 m² workshop equipped with high-performance machinery. With 34 employees, a turnover of €6.4 million in 2024, and an annual consumption of 430 tons of steel, OCTÉ Industry produces custom-made sheet metal parts, boiler making, and welded assemblies for industrial clients in the Centre-Val de Loire and Île-de-France regions, including KONE, OTIS, and La Cornue. OCTÉ Industry has been ISO 9001 certified since 2012 and ISO 14001 certified since 2018.
OCTÉ Electric Spain — Over 100 years of expertise in wiring and electrical harnesses
Based in Hernani, in the Spanish Basque Country, OCTÉ Electric Spain is the oldest entity in the group in terms of industrial history, with over a century of activity in the manufacture of electrical harnesses and cables. Integrated into the OCTÉ group in 2012, OCTÉ Electric Spain has 47 employees and is projected to generate €31 million in revenue in 2024—the highest in the group. Its unique feature: production sites located within prisons, reflecting a strong commitment to social integration. With 6,000 m² of production space and over one million parts manufactured annually (representing 4,400 km of wiring), OCTÉ Electric Spain has been ISO 9001 certified since 2014 and counts Schindler, OTIS, and Semat among its clients.
OCTÉ Electric Czech — The powerhouse of production at the heart of Central Europe
The most recent addition to the OCTÉ Group in 2020, OEC is located in Rumburk, in the northwest of the Czech Republic. Specializing in the subcontracting of electrical cables and components, OCTÉ Electric Czech benefits from a strategic geographic location to serve industrial clients in Central Europe. With 66 employees, a 2,600 m² production area, and an annual capacity of 5.5 million electrical cables and wires, OCTÉ Electric Czech projected a turnover of €1.7 million in 2024 and collaborates with companies such as KONE, OTIS, Zollner, and Alberto Sassi.
